My name is Vincent Frederick James and I design experiences.
On paper, I am a product designer and researcher with a Bachelor’s in industrial design from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver. My interests are situated in how current and emergent technologies influence our cultural and design landscape. To that end, I believe that design can no longer be categorized under separate disciplines like product, graphic, and interaction, as our workflows and outcomes cross over routinely.
My work focuses on creating fulfilling experiences first and foremost. I try to recognize problems, tell an object’s or person’s story, ask critical questions and design for how the world could be, not always how it is.
